Terms of Service

Effective 1 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to the Aura website, merchant dashboard, API and payment services (together, the "Services") provided by [Aura legal entity, registration number and registered address] ("Aura", "we", "us"). By applying for an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and onboarding

The Services are available only to legal entities and registered businesses. Before activation we verify your business (KYB), its beneficial owners and the nature of its activity. We may refuse or end onboarding at our discretion, including where information is incomplete or the activity falls outside our risk appetite.

2. The Services

Aura provides technical connectivity to banks, payment providers and payment methods for accepting payments ("pay-ins") and sending funds ("payouts"), together with routing, reporting and related tools. Availability of each method depends on the country, the provider and your approved business profile.

3. Your obligations

4. Fees and settlement

Fees are set out in your individual commercial offer and are charged only on approved operations unless agreed otherwise. Settlement frequency, currency and minimum amounts are defined in your agreement. We may deduct fees, refunds, chargebacks and fines imposed by providers from your balance.

5. Reserves, holds and disputes

To manage risk we may hold funds, set a rolling reserve or delay settlement where there are signs of fraud, an unusual level of disputes or a regulatory request. You are responsible for disputes, refunds and chargebacks relating to your customers and must provide supporting evidence on request.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate the Services immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law or a partner, or if continued service creates material risk. You may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Outstanding obligations survive termination.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, dashboard, API, documentation and the Aura brand remain our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for the duration of your agreement.

8. Liability

The Services are provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or losses caused by banks, providers or networks outside our control. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard or by e-mail at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a faster change is required by law or a partner.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Questions about these Terms can be sent to welcome@aurapay.pro.

Onboarding and transaction records are kept for at least 5 years after the end of the relationship, as anti-money laundering rules require. Candidate data is kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete it earlier.

AML & KYC Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

[Aura legal entity, registration number and registered address] ("Aura") is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions evasion. This summary describes the controls that apply to every merchant and partner.

1. Know your business

Before onboarding we verify the legal entity, its directors and ultimate beneficial owners (25% or more), its licences where required, its website and its business model. We screen all parties against sanctions, PEP and adverse media lists.

2. Risk-based approach

Each merchant receives a risk rating based on its industry, countries, products, volumes and ownership structure. Higher-risk merchants are subject to enhanced due diligence, including source of funds checks and more frequent reviews.

3. Ongoing monitoring

Transactions are monitored automatically and by our compliance team for unusual patterns, such as sudden volume changes, structuring, high dispute rates or activity inconsistent with the declared business. Profiles are reviewed at least once a year.

4. Prohibited activities

5. Reporting and cooperation

Where we suspect money laundering or terrorist financing we may suspend operations, hold funds and report to the competent authorities without notifying the merchant, as the law allows. We cooperate fully with lawful requests from regulators and law enforcement.

6. Record keeping

Due diligence documents and transaction records are kept for at least 5 years after the end of the business relationship.

7. Training and governance

A designated compliance officer oversees this policy. Staff receive AML training when they join and every year after that. The policy is reviewed annually.

8. Contact

Compliance questions can be sent to welcome@aurapay.pro.
